I'm sorry, I was mistaken. Not all government wages increased 40%

Here are some that came close:
Correction officers + 37%
CHIPs + 32%
Engineers + 31%
Over 100 prison doctors + 92%

But I must have read those and this: "state workers' salaries jumped
by 37 percent"
and assumed it applied to all. Honest mistake.
