The more I look at the pic, taking into account how its being held, etc. I am starting to think maybe it was taken off the soldier.
I agree the serrations look much to big to be a normal kitchen knife. Stupid photographer. Maybe he/she will learn from this experience and make sure he/she gets better quality photos for us to examine.
