If their intent was to make a spectacle of what they knew was going to be an extreme overreaction by the Israeli's to cast a big huge spotlight on what is going on...I would say mission accomplished. Their attitude was probably, if we have to die to save innocent civilians, so be it.

I do not think I ever said they were, rather they could be. It appears that the soldier has a wound on his chest (you can see what looks like a blood stain on the right side of his chest) its possible that could be a stab wound, but admittedly, it can be another wound as well. > > Standing up for what is right and just is common sense Scott, that is why > many of us who did serve put our lives on the line and were willing to put > ourselves in harms way. I understand the need to stand up for what you believe in. However, I also think there are smart ways to do it and dumb ways to do it. This, in my opinion, was a dumb way to do it. I know, that probably makes me a fascist in your mind, but that is how I see it. I am not trying to say Israel was justified in its actions (to be honest, I do not think any of us has enough information, or experience to say definitively one way or another) because to me, in my limited views as a civilian, with no military training, it does seem that this was not the most appropriate plane of action. That being said, I do not think that the way the aid group handled the situation was the most appropriate course of action either. Both parties share in the blame for what happened. I would even go so far as to say the Israel is more to blame, but that does not mean that the aid group is not to blame at all. -- Scott Stroz --------------- You can make things happen, you can watch things happen or you can wonder what the f*&k happened. - Cpt.
