That may or may not be (I don't know), but that welfare drain would go away 
quickly if conservatives had their way. Meanwhile over in the blue states all 
the welfare programs that get shot down now would go through unopposed.

Total bullocks. Nowhere in the United States is there any set of laws that even 
comes close to that. Show me somewhere where it's illegal to have premaritial 
sex or where the government encourages female circumcision or where women are 
treated as property. Show me a place where you can be arrested for practicing a 
religion outside the norm or where people are afraid to speak out against the 
government. There's no place like that here. Get off your soapbox and come back 
to the real world.

No it wouldn't. Even in the Bible Belt we're outnumbered by Humanists, 
agnostics, and aethists these days. Especially in a conservative run nation, 
where gun control would be almost non-existant (if not completely non-existant) 
a Christian dictatorship wouldn't fly.
