To answer your question, I would doubt the claim as the DNC and other dem groups do not have a history of doing this, while the RNC and other conservative groups do. It's kind of like this...2 people are in a dispute. One is a serial felon, the other has had some misdemeanor charges...nothing serious. Who would you trust more?
Yes, I think it is wrong to put a camera in someone's face and hope they will do something to discredit themselves. That subverts the democratic process. If you have a problem with the issues, attack the issues, but don't sling mud everywhere and hope that some will stick to someone. That is very dishonorable and cowardly. It's not silly comparing this to the ACORN incident. The RNC and it's operatives have a long history of shit like this and it is serious concern of pols and others that they will try it again...especially after the ACORN thing was very successful, even after it was shown to be a blatant lie...something that it seems that those conservative family values types don't seem to be bother by much. Never knew lying and misleading was a family value. I wonder what their Jesus would think of that? -----Original Message----- From: Sisk, Kris [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Tuesday, June 15, 2010 11:09 AM To: cf-community Subject: RE: More Senseless Political Violence It wouldn't be shame that would prompt me to hide my face in this case. It'd be fear of reprisal. Not that it really matters. Even if it was a set up (which seems unlikely to me) the way that guy reacted was wrong. Is it wrong to put a camera in someone's face and ask them a politically charged question in hopes that they'll do something to discredit themselves? Debatable. Is it wrong to grab someone's arm and then their neck while demanding to know who they are for doing so? Absolutely. The fact that he publicly admitted he was wrong pretty well rules out thyat this is a fake, so comparing it to the ACORN incident is pretty silly. Now I ask you this Eric: If it was a Republican politician and the GOP was screaming that it was a setup by the DNC what would your reaction be? That set of circumstances would be just as plausible as the one that's being proposed here. -----Original Message----- From: Eric Roberts [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Tuesday, June 15, 2010 10:49 AM To: cf-community Subject: RE: More Senseless Political Violence If I was a college student doing a project, I wouldn't hide my face...but then again, if I am doing something that I am too ashamed to show my face, I wouldn't do it in the first place. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Order the Adobe Coldfusion Anthology now! http://www.amazon.com/Adobe-Coldfusion-Anthology-Michael-Dinowitz/dp/1430272155/?tag=houseoffusion Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/message.cfm/messageid:321248 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/unsubscribe.cfm
