I am looking for some blog software, but as I go around customizing what I finally settle on, I was wondering if you guys could give any tips. The blog will be informational, but I would like to put links to our items on it to help with SE. How many items per page/article would be appropriate? Should the items displayed be random, changing with every page request, or static, always the same?
