The entire email I get back with a blank error message was in the original
post.

What is the actual error that is being returned, it doesn't seem to
showing in the email you sent. SPF records shouldn't be required and
they should only be checked by the remote hosts when trying to decide
if your messages are spam. Of course, I've never set up Postini, so
they may be different. Is it the case that *all* your outbound email
is getting bounced? And it is being pounced by your local server, not
remote servers?
