Please quote the parts of the article that state the Landmarks Preservation Committee is stopping the church from rebuilding or that the OA is giving money to the mosque. If you cannot, than these issues are unrelated. > >> Not sure where you get the notion that the PA 'owes' the church >> anything. My wife's church, in WV, is paying for a new church that cost about the same as what the church wants from the PA > >> How long does it normally take for similar projects throughout the >> city? You are comparing apples to fork lifts. The church is not waiting on anything from the Landmarks Preservation Committee, nor did the PA do anything to expedite the mosque project. So simply comparing the timelines is not an accurate comparison. How long does it usually take the Landmarks Preservation Committee to make decisions? If it is longer than 6 months, you may have a point. > > >> We do not know that. Once again, there is a difference, I know its hard to see with your 'everything is black and white' glasses on. No one is telling the church they are being disrespectful (your word) by wanting to rebuild so close to Ground Zero, you cannot say the same about the mosque. The mosque is not waiting for a handout before they proceed with their plans, you cannot say the same for the church. -- Scott Stroz --------------- You can make things happen, you can watch things happen or you can wonder what the f*&k happened. - Cpt.
