But the location is important to their message.....that the peace loving
Muslim Americans stand in unity with their American brethren in refuting the
actions of the terrorists and in helping to rebuild the area in a spirit of
cooperation.

This is their stated aim, and it's part of why the location is important.

Now, as a Christian, Jew, or other.....do you accept this explanation, or do
you say "That's BS, find somewhere else....you make us uncomfortable."

We claim, as (predominantly) Christian Americans that we understand the
difference between Islamic radicals, and their moderate counterparts....we
fight only the former, and we purport to want to prop up the latter. And
yet, here....given the chance to do just that, what do we do? We oppose
them....by a 7-3 count.
