I am thinking I like a stupid dog better. The last time I stuck him in a crate at the dog club he started attempting to work the mechanism that opens the door with his teeth. He clearly understood how it worked (push in two spring loaded buttons from top and bottom) and was attempting to get his teeth on those buttons, but was fortunately unable to coordinate the task.
