Meh, totally different band when Syd was the front man and main contributor. But, Gilmour's not bad. I thought Momentary Lapse was a great album...... Lapse actually helped define my highschool years. It is still one of my favs. However when it comes right down to it Floyd without Gilmour is exactly that. Floyd without Gilmour. Floyd without Waters isn't Floyd at all. It's just a whole lot of synth and lasers. I will say this though. Together they are truly more than the sum of their parts. The way their voices augment each other, as well as Gilmour's guitar and Waters' bass is just a beautiful thing.
