Two points: First, "Caribou Barbie" made me scratch my head and then when I figured out who you were talking about, laugh. Second, I don't think she's going to run - or at least I don't think she'd make such an announcement until 2011. I think it's more of the fact that "the media" (and the Democrat strategists) need *something* to get the attention of potential Democrat voters for the 2010 elections. She does that, and in a big way. We've heard a LOT about where she's been going and whatnot lately. At the moment the hooplah is about her visiting Iowa.
