I had no intention of using the gun to ward off Grizzlies! My intention
would be to stay clear of them, keep all my food locked up, and hopefully
they'd stay clear of me...and then hope bear spray worked if something went
wrong.

That sounds awesome. We fish a lake in upper Ontario that is fly in only,
with only one cabin on the place. But the cabin is a functioning lodge, so
it's not really very rustic...but the fishing on those places is amazing.
Since people can't drive to it, it gets very little fishing pressure. My dad
picked off a 44", 23 pound Northern this year.
