Well, of course you could. It's been SOP for progressives since the progressive movement started. There are unacceptable moments in history on all sides of the political spectrum. I just personally believe that the modern left ignores and lies about its history while trying to exploit the negative history of its opponents. That's why I choose quotes from that spectrum. "Better to look at the person's entire accomplishments than to cherry pick just a few choice examples." Great idea. You should research some of Sangers accomplishments and failures, like the Negro project. Fortunately, it failed. The minister's work is also important and he should be trained, perhaps by the Federation as to our ideals and the goal that we hope to reach. We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population, and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members - Margaret Sanger "Although some seem to think that that is the only way to demonstrate a point."
