I think I'm just plain more emotional since having a kid.

"Up" made me tear up a bit.

That's a bad example, because I've got emotional stuff about being
able to have kids going on, but still.


All the crying itself didn't bother me so much, I mean, hell, have you
*seen* how cute a crying kid can be?  Little face all scrunched up and
everything?  Ah... savor even this shit, man, it'll be past before you
know it.
And you can quite easily look back and say, "damn, that was awesome",
even tho at the time, it didn't feel super awesome.

Remembering that, helps me, personally, to handle lots of stuff.  Even
goes so far as making stuff that might not have felt super awesome at
the time, feel super awesome /at the time/.

Rationalization is freaking tits.

The other advice sounded good, I was thinking of something a bit more
permanent, emotionally-wise, than being run down.  =)
