So, its OK for the farmer to hire illegal immigrants to do the work to save money, but its bad for Ford to move an auto plant for the same reason?
That wreaks of hypocrisy. Why do you think the plants were being moved off shore? I bet part of it is the cost of labor. Just like unemployed people do not want to pick cotton at those wages because they feel it is beneath them, they do not want to work in auto plants for lower wages because they feel it is beneath them. I was unemployed for a short time this year. If it had gotten to the point where I really needed to be bringing in _some_ money, I would have had no qualms about taking a job that others might think was 'beneath them' .
