Back in the 80s we had a zealot show up at the recording studio
wanting to record a song she wrote about flag burning.

The lyrics "we need to amend the amendments, cause the bill of rights
is wrong".  We tried to explain that you don't amend the amendments,
you amend the Constitution.  She just didn't get it.

Her ignorance was astounding. The musicians couldn't play for laughing at her.

I finally just refunded all her money, gave her the tape of what we
had recorded that night, and asked her to go somewhere else.

O'Donnell reminds me a lot of that woman.  It's clear she is being
coached and is only parroted the talking points, with no real
knowledge of the issues or how to govern.  That is exactly the type of
candidate her backers want, easy to control because they lack the
ability to form dissenting opinions.
