I can't comment on the Jesus part, because I haven't gotten that far
in the Bible, but there was a lot of God telling people to kill people
in the Old Testament.

I wouldn't be surprised if there's Jesus stuff that could be used to
say, "hey, we can do what we're doing because of [X]".
Rationalization is pretty easy.

It would be swell if lots of folk actually practiced the whole "love
thy neighbor" dogma, but Real Life is hard, you know? Thinking of
that stuff in the midst of other thoughts... most people are wrapped
up in life. "What am I going to have for dinner?", etc..

Introspection is interesting.

Anyways, we do get what we deserve, I reckon. And who's really to say
what is good or bad?

I might not like what is likely to happen if the current crop of
Republican candidates got elected (I like legal weed, for instance),
but that's my logic, ja know? Maybe "they" are right.

Maybe gay people getting "married" is like, uncool. Maybe abortion
*is* something that the government should be in control of.

Eh. Maybe not much would really change.

I do know that I like the basic goals of the "Democrats". That there
is positivity there. I can see the merit of conservative views too,
but they seem more about closing things off, than opening them up.
(Guess you could guess that by the term, neh?).

Funny that what we need to do is so obvious, yet we don't do it.
Blame the media, and rich people, etc..

LOL! It's us, ya'll. =)
