Trish, Historically there were a lot of sexual assaults, and in some cases consensual sex between owners and female slaves during the US's slave phodling past. There is no denying that. The genetic records speak for themselves.
That said brown skin boys was stereotypic and insensitive, but I wouldn't call it racist. However, I think you are overreacting in this case. Maureen did not mean it the way you have taken it.
