1) You'd be surprised how little it takes to cause a concussion. I've seen them caused by less than what I see in that video. 2) Typically when you hear police say someone 'refused medical treatment' it means that they didn't let the paramedics take them to the hospital. It does NOT mean that they didn't go to the hospital on their own. Frankly that ride on the ambulance is expensive (I got a $450 bill for my 5 minute ride on one a couple weeks ago) so a lot of people won't let the paramedics take them if they can get there on their own. 3) Furthermore, that's not a smile.
