It's a huge threat, not just to pharma and booze but to manufacturers of
synthetic materials, cotton growers, the timber industry, and others.

This proposition lost because of its flaws, I fear. The LA Times ran a big
piece on the problems with it, and then said don't vote for it. Next time
around ...
