Great write-up; I have to personally wonder how many of those that won last night realize that, like the Yamamoto said in WWII, "I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant." I was reminded that when the GOP took the house in 1994, many went on to be co-opted into the "business as usual" mentality. My hope is that with the change of control this year the people in DC will realize that they can't just go back to the norm. Too much attention is focused their way and then voting public has made it abundantly clear that they won't look favorably on actions that run counter to what they voted for. The Tea Parties aren't going any where. Just because there was a shift in the election results does not mean the goals have been met - it only means that the right tools are being put in place to meet them.
