Gaelic Hurling is like lacrosse & field hockey rolled into one.

Played on a pitch similar to rugby with a ball about the size of a baseball.

The ball is carried on the end of a flat bat and pushed into the air
swatted mid-stride to pass.

No pads, helmets are optional. Full-on body checks, slide tackles,
etc. are the rule of the day.

Hurling's the sport I throw down against hockey when hockey fans get
all in-the-face about how wimpy baseball/football is...
