The first step is admitting you have a problem. Seriously though, I stopped taking political conversations seriously on this list many years ago. Just look for the non-bullshit and comment on it randomly. You can even comment on the political stuff, just don't let yourself get drawn in. As soon as you stop caring to prove anything to anyone it's a much better experience.
