Rabid supporters of a political party may try to deny the similarities, but any objective observer can see them. They are obvious. As obvious as my example with the muslim from detroit above. The shooter would not have had to be muslim at all. He and his supporters would be under investigation and vilified immediately, no questions asked. In all likelihood the entire incident would be labelled a terrorist act. That's just to throw some perspective on this serious incident.
