Re: wine storage - we aren't at the point of "proper" temperature and humidity controlled storage (e.g. SubZero).
But I put in some rack kits in a relatively dark, cool place. So at least the bottles are all horizontal and undisturbed. And the house has a/c and good insulation, so they don't get too hot. The few bottles of really good stuff that we're saving for anniversaries etc I have in a case on the floor in a closet where they will be as cool and dark as possible. Probably ought to send them to "boarding school" under controlled conditions ... >Good wine collections are nice.
