As we can see, they aren't the only oppositional party, just the strongest.
Radicals are always stronger than non-radicals by the very nature of their
zealotry. The Muslim Brotherhood is smart, patient, and totally dedicated to
their cause. They're willing to kill for it (Sadat was killed by them) and
are willing to die for it (they support suicide bombings).

No, but just making a sweeping change without control is a recipe for
disaster. As we can see from their own words, the Muslim Brotherhood would
love to cancel a peace deal that's been on for a long time and is one of the
keys to middle east peace. They want war. They've said so quite clearly more
than once. Is that who you want to sweep into office? Slow and steady change
vs. total disruption.

Totally different situations. The Sudan is a single country splitting in
half due to what amounts to religious motivated war which includes true
ethnic cleansing in Darfur. Israel is an issue of disputed lands which would
go towards building a Palestinian state if an agreement could be reached
(and Hamas decided to have peace rather than continual attacking Israel).

Remove Hamas (a Muslim Brotherhood organization) and peace is quite a few
steps closer. Israel has given a ton of land over to autonomous control and
has offered a ton more if Abbas (who has no actual mandate) would sign a
peace deal. But will it be real peace or a piece of paper. With the events
in Egypt, the whole negotiations are on shaky ground.

Even Abbas is running scared as he's banned gatherings and protests
supporting what's happening in Egypt. But because you don't see it in the
mainstream media, you don't compare it to what's happening in Egypt (or
other places not on the front page of a paper).
