Hey, remember all those stolen and leaked emails amongst climate
scientists that the folks on the Right swore up and down proved that
it was all a ginned up conspiracy? As anyone with half a brain might
have guessed the answer really was: eh, not really, no.

This time it is the Inspector General's office of the Commerce
Department weighing in after completing an investigation at the
request of freak out specialist Sen. Inhofe. This report joins the
British House of Commons, Penn State University and the National
Research Council in exonerating the scientists regarding claims that
they manipulated scientific data. It did note that NOAA could improve
it's handling of FOIA requests and that climate scientists should
probably not forward around comics of Jim Inhofe regardless of how
funny they are.

True to form, however, Senator Inhofe continues to claim that there is
a monster hiding under his bed.
