Well, if you head out the NJ way, right off of Route 3, in Lyndhurst
(can't remember the street), is a place called Angelo's (411, directory
assistance will have the number). Only takes cash, but it is the best
Italian food I have ever had ... Has a lot of goomba type,
Soprano-looking dudes (forgive me for stereotyping) hanging about the
bar, and having dinner. Lots of Italian families. Husband and wife
owned.

It's only 10 minutes or so from the Lincoln Tunnel, no traffic.
