Yeah, my mother-in-law is a *devout* Catholic and doesn't think anyone should
interfere with this situation, she thinks it's been glamorized, we should all stay out
of it and let the Catholic Church take care of it... When I asked her what she would
do if it were teachers she said "that's different"... I believe I won't be bumping
into her in heaven ;)

Subject: Bishops set tough abuse policy

The Catholic Church has finally realized that sexually abusing children is
wrong....well, duh.

(before I get flamed - I am a Roman Catholic)

BTW - I think that the rule where you had to have abused more than one child in the
past is ludicrous...the magic number should be
1.

>From MSNBC Breaking News:

Bishops set tough abuse policy
Roman Catholic bishops will reportedly unveil a plan later Tuesday under which any
priest who sexually abuses a minor, or any priest
who has abused more than one minor in the past, will be defrocked.
