I agree...this experiment will fail.  

Scott...you are also mischaracterizing this...this isn't a school board or
state or federal policy.  This is something being done at a single school at
the behest of the principal.  I do agree that it is ridiculous and stupid,
no matter how well meaning.  Sending educational information home to parents
in conjunction with nutritional education would go much further in changing
eating habits and reducing obesity that making them eat food from the
cafeteria.

I would starve in that school, but there is no way I would ever eat
cafeteria food.  I didn't as a child, and I don't now.

This rule won't stand.  Too many parents are gonna have fits.   I know
I would if my kid went there.
