Uninstall, then go download the "Windows XP Mode" add-on for Windows 7
(essentially creates a free Windows XP virtual machine) and then
reinstall Studio in Windows 7 and it should function for the most
part. This came up several times over the last year and most people
were able to get it to work with the XP mode addon installed.

Outside of that, I was a hard-core HomeSite+ user that recently bit
the bullet and purchased Builder and forced myself to use it. There
are some things I miss from HomeSite, but some of what they're adding
as "new" features in Builder 2 should address some of the things that
HomeSite had and I still miss. I still occasionally go back to
HomeSite for particular applications, but Builder is actually a great
tool if you force yourself to use it for a while.
