My dad worked as a toll collector for the NJTurnpike for over 20
years, I can tell you the union that represented him sucked. It does
not surprise me that the 'union boss' is telling collectors to take
the deal. Many of the guys my dad worked with believed that the union
heads were in bed with the Turnpike Authority.
