The Cloud, marketing fuzziness aside, is very different then just the interwebs and hosted email. If you take a look at Microsoft's Azure offering (the one I am most familiar with working at Microsoft) you can really get a handle on how different it is, and can be and will be in the very near future. Once Amazon and Google and Microsoft start competing for the same segments in the Cloud things are going to get very interesting (better products for the masses).
