I suppose so but gender/sex in the Utah case seems to just be a matter of who the person gets pimped out to. If the kid was a boy/had male bits, the mom would have sold the kid to someone who desired those bits. The key is the desire to sell your kid's body for the sexual gratification of others. The particulars of that body just determine who it gets sold to.
