Sen. Ron Wyden is trying to substantially modify the Patriot Act as sections come up for reauthorization and he argues that not only are there nasty secret provisions in the Patriot Act, there are even nastier secret interpretations of those provisions that the government refuses to clarify so they can continue to silently expand an already far reaching law.
