I don't actually watch TV news ever. I was going based on the ABC News
story that Cam posted which said:

---

Weiner called the news conference, but before he took the stage, the
man who broke the story, conservative blogger Andrew Breitbart, got
there first and took the mic himself.

Breitbart first said he was there to watch himself be vindicated, but
then took to the podium and criticized Weiner for claiming that his
Twitter and Facebook accounts had been hacked, and the media for its
coverage of the story.

"This is a legitimate story," he said from the same podium from where
Weiner was set to speak. There "is a continual attempt to blame the
messenger."

---

Personally, I think the whole thing is pretty classless, but going to
watch yourself be vindicated? Sounds pretty narcissistic to me. I
don't buy the gaggle of reporters urging him to go to the microphone.
The dude has a pretty big microphone of his own to get his message out
whenever he wants and I don't think he has any problems getting
reporters to listen to him. I'm fine with him talking to reporters but
have a little class about the whole deal.
