So I've got this old G4, got it for free from a former employer... running OSX 10.4 I'm trying to hook up a USB wireless adapter. Bought a cheap one from Best Buy, had to go to the chipset manufacturer's website to find drivers and a config utility for it (I'm not spending $100 for a Mac Air-Port) I get it to talk to my router and it's getting DHCP from the network, but it can't reach the internet. (the mac thinks it's an ethernet port)
I have no Mac Address blocking in place, and all the rest of my PC's work just fine. I think I missed something in the Mac setup but I have no idea what.. -- -- Scott Stewart Adobe Certified Instructor, ColdFusion 8 & 9 Adobe Certified Expert, ColdFusion 8 & 9 Blog: http://www.sstwebworks.com Email: [email protected] ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Order the Adobe Coldfusion Anthology now! http://www.amazon.com/Adobe-Coldfusion-Anthology/dp/1430272155/?tag=houseoffusion Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/message.cfm/messageid:338897 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/unsubscribe.cfm
