Fair enough. Having never gone to Canada, I was not sure how strict
they are when it comes to ID.

$500 to replace a stolen license? I find that incredibly hard to
believe. I have had my wallet stolen and it cost nothing near that to
get a replacement license. Please let me know what state that is so I
do not move there.

I cannot recall what state you live in, but I think I narrowed it down
to 1 of 3. Of the 3, the highest cost to replace a license was $34.

Get enough of those $25 fines and it adds up. Still curious about the
$500 though. According to the numbers I found, 2 tickets and you are
in the red.

When I opened my bank account, I had to show ID. When I want to cash a
check against that account, I need to show ID. When I try to make a
withdrawal from that account, I need to show ID.

I am curious how you can do any kind if similar banking without an ID.

I don't recall anyone saying anything about provisional ballots before
you did, so I am not really sure how it relevant to the discussion.

Nope, not at ll..it leaves more for me. My point was that just
because you can get away without having any ID, does not mean its
feasible or possible for others to do so.
