OK. You asked for it .... <grin> I don't think you should worry about a thread changing subjects ... First, wouldn't that be programmatic hell (I know, not for you<g>), second, sometimes the thread will talk about both things or at a later date revert back to the topic it once was. (of course not totally the case in this list, but that's ok)
Let the subject lines be your threading, not the actual content.
