Kudos on consistency. >From the Fair Tax Blog: The Missouri House gave final approval to a proposed constitutional amendment to abolish the state income tax and replace it with a FairTax system. The proposal would raise the state sales tax from 4.225 percent to 5.11 percent and eliminate the 6 percent personal income tax and 6.25 percent corporate income tax on business earnings. Accompanying the sales tax rate hike would be a substantially broadened sales tax base that would include all purchases. As things are progressing, it appears there will be a measure on the 2012 ballot about switching to the fair tax. And from GA: The Senate Finance Committee votedout Senate Resolution 28 late last week. S.R. 28 creates the Senate State Fair Tax Study Committee; a committee that would study how implementing the Fair Tax at the state level would affect Georgia. S.R. 28 was authored by state Sen. Judson Hill (R - Marietta). Other states are studying the Fair Tax as well. "And that's where the fraud comes in and nobody does fraud better than the rich. And in a new system??
