when they took over our economy. in sf last week. overrun by homeless people just looking for someone to give them some help, including many unstable people who genuinely need a hand extended to them. juxtapose all these people on the street with the inside of the marriott marquis, hosting semicon and overrun by chinese businessmen in dark suits.
pretty much sums up what has happened to our country. globalization turns out not to be not so warm and fuzzy. unless we change direction i think it becomes a path to poverty for most of the developed world.
