I saw Logan's Run so long ago that I don't remember it all, but I don't
think it is really anything close to the same idea except for the premise
that age restrictions are used to control overpopulation.  In this movie,
time is used as currency and you can continue to live to be as long as you
want.  The preview shows someone who is over 100 years old but looks like
he's in his 20's.

I don't think they explained why in the preview, but it looks like either
people don't age due to health advancements, or that one person can take
"time" from another and use it to stay young.

On the surface it may seem to have similarities to Logan's Run, but I don't
think it's as close to the same as you suspect, nor a remake.  Either way
though, I think the movie looks cool based on the preview.
