Not sure how it is with DJ's but I suspect not very different. Regardless of the age of the audience, when our band plays gigs like reunions, weddings, etc. we always get requests for: Beatles songs, Eagles songs, Stairway to Heaven, and Van Morrison's Brown Eyed Girl. Also for slow songs so the guys can try to seduce the girls they didn't have a snowball's chance with in high school. And occasionally some idiot wants to hear Free Bird. I always carry a folder of Classic Rock bass tab "just in case". Just added a bunch of Steely Dan songs to it.
