I'm talking with a client and as they put together a staging server for me, they wanted to know the software I use so they can have it on the box. I gave them 3 'for pay' programs that I use on a very regular basis:
ColdFusion Builder from Adobe (http://www.adobe.com/products/coldfusion-builder.html) development environment for creating and editing site content. Powergrep from Just Great Software (http://www.powergrep.com/index.html) advanced search application using Regex. Can be used for replace but I'm extremely careful about doing mass replaces of content Beyond Compare by Scooter Software (http://www.scootersoftware.com/index.php) Content comparison tool for files, folders, etc. Used mainly for file management, archiving, and comparison. So what do you use other than those? Do you have any suggestions for replacements for the above? I know Beyond Compare has some competition but I haven't used any of them. And yes, I use cfeclipse on a different client machine. I like it better than CFBuilder in some cases. -- Michael ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Order the Adobe Coldfusion Anthology now! http://www.amazon.com/Adobe-Coldfusion-Anthology/dp/1430272155/?tag=houseoffusion Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/message.cfm/messageid:341563 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/unsubscribe.cfm
