A valid point. But I was referring more to the people who vote down
party lines - not necessarily the current crop of candidates.

Here in WV there is actually a section at the top of each ballot that
allows you to check one box and vote for all the Democrats or
Republicans. I think that breeds lazy voters and promotes the 'party
line voting'.
