Just got a robo-call from a blocked number with a very "generated"
voice saying that "Your MasterCard account has been blocked and if you
want to unblock it, press one now." Very generic, and would likely
lead to a call center where "customer service" would no doubt want me
to give them my card number and associated information to "verify" my
account so it can be unblocked. No thanks. I see e-mails like this
all the time as I check over my spam folder, but I've never had an
automated call before. I could imagine some people I know falling for
this approach.
