Being the weekend before the kids go back to school, we're busy cleaning and rearranging the house to get things back in order after a crazy summer. We rearranged our bedroom and my wife lost her bedside table in the process.
We both have Droid X phones and we both use them as alarm clocks. She lamented the loss of her bedside table and said, "I wonder if there is a wall mount for my phone." So a quick search and forum post later, I found a great example of what happens when someone decides, "nobody else has made it, so I should!" I found the "DockEm" which boasts the ability to hold damn near any thin portable electronic device... iWhatever, Droidlings, Blackberries and other similar devices. It's simply a mount, no electronics included, and the genius is that it's simply two pieces of plastic stuck to the wall with Command adhesive strips. Total cost for the basic set with shipping was $11, and I'd spend more that that in time and fuel to engineer my own solution. I ordered one today, no I'm not a paid spokesperson nor am I affiliated with the company - when I find something cool I like to share it with my friends! I'll let folks know my thoughts when we get it up and put it to use. Until Later! C.
