I just dismiss anyone who buys into that shit. The special I was watching had a lot of video and pictures of Bush's actions and speeches in the hours immediately after the towers fell...as they flew to an air base in Louisiana, then to Nebraska, then 9 hours later back to Washington. In the years since, I have become a huge Bush detractor...i think he was a terrible president...but all those emotions from 9/11 came back, including that huge nationalist-inspired love for the President. He gave his "freedom has been attacked, and freedom will be offended" speech, and I was doing a "hell yeah!" in my head again last night. Was a weird sensation. I still think Bush was a terrible president, but I thought his actions immediately in the aftermath of 9/11, including his DEMAND that he return to washington (his advisors and the SS were not going to let him go) and his message of tolerance for Muslims living in America.......were damn good. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Order the Adobe Coldfusion Anthology now! http://www.amazon.com/Adobe-Coldfusion-Anthology/dp/1430272155/?tag=houseoffusion Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/message.cfm/messageid:342353 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/unsubscribe.cfm
