I disagree as do many scientists. Like the one that made the bet with Hawking when he presented his theory on black holes. If he believed it to be fact he wouldn't have made a bet against it.
Basically, when a theory is presented many scientist set out to disprove it. Over time it maybe considered fact but that still doesn't make it one. .
